Canada’s favourite smoke shop had high hopes of becoming Canada’s largest dispensary network and needed a brand that could get them there. Partnering with NOBLE to bring their vision to life, we designed an approachable brand that has grown to over 100 locations spanning Ontario, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

COUNTER CULTURE GOES MAINSTREAM
The legalization of marijuana in Canada meant weed was ready to go as mainstream as toothpaste and with that, hundreds of providers popped up in the market.
The need to create a unique brand identity was necessary to differentiate Canna Cabana in the busy marketplace saturated with stoner stereotypes. With legalization comes normalization and we knew Canna Cabana had to evolve past the clichés and into a lifestyle brand.
To achieve this, we took a recognizable symbol of the industry, the gange leaf, and recreated it using an elegant and subtle approach that resulted in an upmarket brand that would appeal to a broader audience.
